KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 â" A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer accused the police today of twisting his statement on the time he interrogated Teoh Beng Hock in July 2009, the royal commission of inquiry investigating Teohâ™s death heard today.
MACC assistant enforcement officer Arman Alies said a police officer at the Selangor police contingent headquarters had recorded his statement, saying that he had interviewed Teoh for more than two hours from on July 15, 2009 to 12.40am on July 16, 2009.
But Arman insisted that he and another MACC officer, Mohd Ashraf Mohd Yunus, had questioned the DAP aide from 10.30pm to 11.50pm that day at the then-Selangor MACC headquarters in Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam.
âœAt the Selangor police contingent headquarters... they did not want to listen,â said Arman at the royal panel today.
