synopsis (source: wiki):
Hanna Heller (Saoirse Ronan) is a 16-year-old girl[3][4][5] who lives with her father, Erik Heller (Eric Bana) in the wilderness of Finland. Ever since she was two years old, Hanna has been trained by Erik to become a multilingual assassin. As part of her training, she has never come into contact with modern technology and has memorized a series of fake back stories for herself to be used "when the time comes".
my review:
if 'colombiana' & 'hit man' happens to be one of your favorite movie list, you will 'quite comfortable' to watch 'hanna'. yes, it is about the 'genetically-altered assassin'. in 'hanna' the stroy went a little extreme. the assassin were design from embryo and 'hanna', other than trained as a multilinguist assassin, she also have been granted for revenge by his father (eric bana) as young as 16 years old.
i do not know any younger assassin other than 'the 11 years old hit girl' (Chloë Grace Moretz as Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl in kick ass the movie).
this is a straight line story-telling movie, well develop and minimal flash-back. it is a good thing, as i do hate flash-back. and yes, there are two well dressed and cold hearted 'skin head' assassins character in this film. from the haircuts, jackets, jeans and boots, we know they are the 'skins'.
anyway, this is the 'young-gorgeous-killers' in real life:
saoirse ronan / 'hanna' the multilinguist assassin |
Chloë Grace Moretz / 'the hit girls' |
